let the blog begin..

Welcome to my first blog post! This area of my website will be used for gentle written ramblings on all things game audio. I say gentle ramblings because it is unlikely that I will have the time needed to make the writing super polished, or up to a standard that would normally be found in published academia or technical white papers. The information conveyed will mostly be off the top of my head and so should not be seen as definitive or completely error free. However, I will endeavour to write on topics that relate to things I have learnt through working as a composer / sound designer / audio director within the games industry. I have been working in game audio for nearly 20 years so hopefully some of it might be useful. Enjoy!
